WAR - should we not consider more options?

Can someone explain me whats surgical strike and how it iis not tantamount to war?
Is India taking into account the economic backdrop before considering any strike?
Do all Indian consider war as the only option?

The economy is weak now and war will mean pumping in more and more money in defense which may not be such a strong idea now. War will eventually mean virtually closing down the area free movement and moving into high alert restricted movement for common citizens. The worst sufferer will be again the commoners. The salaried and daily-wage class.

The recent media posts a grim picture of Pakistan showing no move from the denial mode and so much so that they are actually ready for war. The Taliban threatens to join with Suicide Bomber against India. We have seen how educated guys can create havoc if they want to do a 26/11 incident. How can one defend against such fearless terror who is ready to die to hit a strike on India? Are these suicide bombers not as trained as army? They are ! And whats more , they are willing to die for "jihad".

Pakistan retaliated " its time for real Jihad". To kill and die destroying India ! Of course the Jaishe-e mohammad and Al Qaida will join the forces in Pak in open now. There will be no need for anyone top prove that Pakistan has sheltered terrorists and they are second line Pak forces against India. Pakistan will never join hands with India to eliminate terrorism because they needs these demons inside them to fire the desire to kill India. The hatred towards India and Indian is far more strong for them then to eradicate the terror groups. They need these forces to be the terror country in the world. I personally do not think they will ever solemn pledge against terrorism as they are the Home Nation of Human destructing Terrorists.

My comments are strong now. As a common Indian, I do not wish a magnifying version of 26/11. A full war against Pakistan will mean million times the more destruction than all the terror attacks till now. All of them had been done in camouflage under the cover with Pak allies, now with a war , Pakistan will resort to the most destructive means and it will result into India suffering to a great extent.

I have no doubt in Indian Army/ Navy/Air forces. They are there to protect us.And I am sure if there is a war , they will win. We are also not afraid to face war. But we wont be able to guarantee our own kin's life in this war. The whole state of emergency in the country is not welcome right now.

But Indians also can pertain only a limit of resistance. How much denial one can take?

My mind is in deep turmoil now.......

I sincerely hope more sense prevails in mind of Pakistani leaders. Both the countries have much to lose from the war. I do not think the poor , daily wage earners, the poverty stricken population would be able to bear the brunt of war.

CAN THERE BE ANY SOLUTION TO THIS? OR , THERE IS NO END TO THIS WAR?

Here is the list of blasts happening in India since 2002 to 2008, have we learnt anything?

More than 600 people have been killed and hundreds maimed and devastated in terror strikes in India in the last six years. Following is a chronology of the major terrorist attacks in the country:

Mumbai, Nov 26, 2008: Several killed and many more injured in seven terror attacks targetting mostly foreigners' hangout places.

Assam, Oct 30, 2008: At least 45 killed (figure can change) and over 100 injured in 18 terror bombings across Assam.

Imphal, Oct 21, 2008: 17 killed in a powerful blast near Manipur Police Commando complex.

Kanpur, Oct 14, 2008: Eight people injured after bomb planted on a rented bicycle went off Colonelganj market.

Malegaon, Maharashtra, Sep 29, 2008: Five people died after a bomb kept in a motorbike went off in a crowded market.

Modasa, Gujarat, Sep 29 2008: One killed and several injured after a low-intensity bomb kept on a motorcycle went off near a mosque.

New Delhi, Sep 27, 2008: Three people killed after a crude bomb was thrown in a busy market in Mehrauli.

New Delhi, Sep 13, 2008: 26 people killed in six blasts across the city.

Ahmedabad, July 26, 2008: 57 people killed after 20-odd synchronised bombs went off within less than two hours.

Bangalore, July 25, 2008: One person killed in a low-intensity bomb explosion.

Jaipur, May 13, 2008: 68 people killed in serial bombings.

Hyderabad, Aug 25, 2007: 42 people killed in two blasts, at a popular eatery and a public park.

Samjhauta Express, Feb 19, 2007: 66 people killed after two firebombs went off on the India-Pakistan friendship train.

Malegaon, Maharashtra, Sep 8, 2006: 40 people killed in two blasts.

Mumbai, July 11, 2006: 209 people killed in seven blasts on suburban trains and stations.

Varanasi, March 7, 2006: 21 people killed in three blasts including one at a temple and another at a railway station.

New Delhi, Oct 29, 2005: 61 people killed in three blasts on the eve of Diwali.

Mumbai, Aug 25, 2003: 46 people killed in two blasts including one near the Gateway of India.

Gandhinagar, Sep 24, 2002: 34 people killed in the attack on the Akshardham temple.

My question is HAVE WE LEARNT ANYTHING? OR WE HAVE BECOME IMMUNE TO BEING SHOT DEAD ? DOESNT MATTER RIGHT?

THE DANCE OF DEATH IS HAVING THE LAST LAUGH IN THE DOOM OF THIS ERA.

Are you there with me ?: No End to this War

Are you there with me ?: No End to this War

And life goes on...

It has been almost 2 weeks since the terror attack and life is back to normal for all of us. Of what is left is the media representing bits and pieces of news , revelations of the terrorists and recent findings. Other than that , my and your life is back to track.

But I cant forget those 2 nights. Every hour seems to be incredible. There was this never ending ghasty battle going on , people dying everywhere , people shooting on the streets , the ATS chief dead and what not. AND I DONT WANT FORGET THE WHOLE THING EVER AND I have vowed to be a better responsible citizen.

I vow to be a aware citizen, I want to exercise my full rights as an educated citizen of India. I vow never to bribe anyone. I would defy corruption as much as I can, as in what I see. I would notify the local police station if I see anything suspicious . I wont shrug away from my duties and blame the system for everything around me. I wont be an indifferent citizen. I will do my part and make a difference. And there are billions like me who I hope would awake now to the new dawn which would make them see with clear eyes as what they need to make India a better place to live.

If each of us try to keep our part of anti-corruption activities,if we become vigil citizens of India and stop choosing our own government who are utter wrong, then we can expect some difference. We have been sloppy in the past. Most of us didnt care as which Government we were choosing , we were not just bothered.India was shining. We were all going with the flow of new economy booming and was not at all aware how vaccum the entire base has been of this strong economy. It has paid us back rudely and like how ! These are the same politicians chosen by us !

Lets be better citizen from now on. Lets not take our freedom for granted. Lets vote or not at all vote if the candidate is not right.

Lets be better Indians and make our country a better place to live in.

My letter to our neighbour.

Dear Pakistan,
I address you as nation and also an entity as a whole.

You just witnesses what happened to us. There are allegations and there are denials. No doubt my friend, we have suffered to a great extent. You saw as the drama unfolded , there was so much of deatha and blood. I understand there are grievences and there are issues.

But,
Tell me , what we gotto lose if we co-exist side by side with no hatred between us? Is that such a bad pictre to even imagine? Have we lost all our sanity to our hatred? Is our hatred so strong that we forgot we were an undivided Bharat even mere 60 years back and we fought together to gain our Independence day "together"? Did you forget that there has been no war between Hindu and Muslim even when we entered 19th century? Was it all that bad that we were brothers in our sacrifice to attain freedom? But what we also attained on 1947 is cold hatred towards each other which was primarily the manifestation of some power hungry politicians. These politicians are immortalised in the History of our country whereas we lost so much blood of our army men in fighting against each other.

Can there be peace? Can we there be transperancy? Can you imagine the world if India and Pakistan ceases to be at cold war?

Will that be all that bad to let our countrymen live peacefully without sleepless nights of death looming on their end?

Let me know, till then,
someone from your "neighbour".

No End to this War

Since last 26th Nov, everyone , every news channel, every possible media is showing the footage and discussion of what happened in Mumbai. They ought to as they are the voice of the mass and I am glad that the whole thing has been shown with restrained exposure and demenour.

But the terror of Indian Politics continues to unfold. The latency of the current government and the farce that they created by suffling top politicians is nothing but to recompose the party image. This terrorism disguts me. How can we deal with our internal chaos? And the chaos is to such an extent that at this time of crisis , unlike pulling up our socks and tightening the belt , everyone is involved in a blame game which has got no meaning , no outcome.

We want a result. By this I dont mean that we want War. As war would only magnify the situation which we just had. Instead of 200 people, 2 crores would die. The common men suffering will see no end , and we will be left with such a vaccum that we would wonder what we gained against Pakistan by going onto war. The Indian Army will lose more Unnikrishnan for a cause which will still not cease to exist.

Tell me, if we go for a war and India or Pakistan wins/loses, at the end, will it also mean end of terrorism? If terrorism doent cease to exist , then the whole point will be lost along with thousand lives further more.

War is not an option, we do not trust that our neighbour will hesitate to drop a nuclear bomb in our country. What they have to lose anyways? They have already lost creditibility and face to the whole world. One more incredulous and vicious step will just add to their history of hatred towards India and certainly, only common men will die. the top shots diplomats declaring and taking the glory of the war will continue to live for another fifty years to tell the story. Only families like Garhar Singh, Unnikrishnan will live to die and lament the true heroes which song will be unsung forever.

I request the world to unite against these terrorists group. Religion should not be attached to these killers but everyone needs to have the sanity to keep religion out of the whole thing and stand as human first to save humanity.

This should come to a logical end. "Peace" has become a elusive phenomena now. Our child is growing up in an unsafe world. I pray to almighty that if "end" is what he has planned for us , then let the end not be so illogical and sad. We still have some goodness left among us and I hope some good sense will probably save the world from this terror.

Until then , my prayers are for the brave souls who died in this uncalled death vortex.
