Dear Pakistan,
I address you as nation and also an entity as a whole.
You just witnesses what happened to us. There are allegations and there are denials. No doubt my friend, we have suffered to a great extent. You saw as the drama unfolded , there was so much of deatha and blood. I understand there are grievences and there are issues.
But,
Tell me , what we gotto lose if we co-exist side by side with no hatred between us? Is that such a bad pictre to even imagine? Have we lost all our sanity to our hatred? Is our hatred so strong that we forgot we were an undivided Bharat even mere 60 years back and we fought together to gain our Independence day "together"? Did you forget that there has been no war between Hindu and Muslim even when we entered 19th century? Was it all that bad that we were brothers in our sacrifice to attain freedom? But what we also attained on 1947 is cold hatred towards each other which was primarily the manifestation of some power hungry politicians. These politicians are immortalised in the History of our country whereas we lost so much blood of our army men in fighting against each other.
Can there be peace? Can we there be transperancy? Can you imagine the world if India and Pakistan ceases to be at cold war?
Will that be all that bad to let our countrymen live peacefully without sleepless nights of death looming on their end?
Let me know, till then,
someone from your "neighbour".
"Can there be Peace" ... Its a good question and I can forsee there would be peace may it require a century to have so.
ReplyDeletePeople like us who think a boudary cannot restrict people's mind and a country cannot make people's entity are there in both side of the border.
Where the literacy rate is less then 50% where more then 40% people leave below poverty level you cannont completely blame them to be brainwashed for money, after all its the hunger which drives everyone of us. Igniting hatred against India is the least and the easiest thing Pakistan can do to keep the rages of common people diverted from their poor policies which cannot serve basic amenities to their countrymen.
But slowly and steadily there should be a time when who can say can see another berlin wall falling ... But alas by that time no body knows how many innocent blood will be spilled .
